A Different Syster Emails from the MTC

Hello family!

I hope everyone had a good week. i was so excited to her about brian getting married. i squealed a little and scared my roomies. things have been absolutely crazy here! i heard someone say the other day that in the mtc a week feels like a day and a day feels like eternity. that's so true. i want to thank everyone for all of the love and prayers and support. i've felt them all so strongly! and mom, we do have a deal and it's a great one. thank you for being my strength throughout all of this. you've never let me down before iand i know you never will. dad, it was so good to talk to you! and i'm really anxious to know whether or not jake got transferred so as soon as you find out let me know! i hate being so out of the loop! we had an amazing devotional last night by elder and sister johnson from the seventy. sister johnson got up after the choir sang and said "you sing when you're happy and you sing when you're sad so you should always have a smile on your face." they were both just so amazing. they're british and it made me so excited! i thought of jake the whole time. elder johynson is so excited about the gospel. i made a goal to be that excited about everything i do on this mission. this morning, i got right up and met the day. it was the best ever. i have to remember that one story about the missionary who couldn't get up in the morning so decided to jump out of bed and yell "i love jesus more than i love sleep!" that's what i tought about this morning. we have this place here called the referral center. you know when people call the toll-free numbers to ask for like book of mormons and stuff? well they call the mtc! when they call they're actually talking to missionaries. anyway, my district goes in to help in there on saturdays and this week was the best ever. normally, no one answers their phhones on saturdays, but i called to confirm that a lady had gotten a book of mormon and some guy picked up and whne i asked if i could talk to the girl he said she wasn't there. so when i asked if there was a better time to reach her he says real loud, "she don't live here no mo'!" i promptly replied with, "oh she don'e i mean she doesn't?" and then someone's voicemail picked up and siad " i miss my phone already. i dropped it in kool-ade..." it was a pretty productive 2 hours! sunday was great. we got to see the draper temple dedication. it was amazing. i'm excited for the next few weeks too! we have fast sunday, general conference and easter all in a row. it'll be fantastic! or fantastisk in swedish! i'm loving swedish. it's a hard language, but i'm glad that i learned german before. they're very similar. some of the words are just insane and the swedes really like to smush words together. we're getting 2 new roommates today! we had one companionship leave this week so i'm excited to be some new sister's mission mommy like those two sisters were for me. things are going better with sister wood and i. we've had some really great spiritual experiences together. i'm sending some pictures home this week. they might not get there till next week though. you guys get a cd and i just have to say in advance that i'm sorry for some of the pictures that are on there. my sneaky companion took them when i wasn'e looking...well in other news, I'M COLD! it snowed last night and this morning and most of the day monday. as much as i love snow, it's only fun if you can play in it...i hope everything is going well. sarah, how did lgt go? no one has told me how you did! keep me updated! and send me pictures! mom i'd still love those pictures from whn you dropped me off. i'm almost out of time so i'd better go. i love you all so much and miss you! sarah, keep up all your hard work. joe and john, keep smiling. mom and dad, i love, love LOVE YOU!!!! i'll write more next week.

love,
sister coleman
