lifeguarding hi-jinks round 2

Ok, yet another insane day at the pool! Today, about halfway through lessons we looked out the window of the office and realized that the water was slowly draining from the pool...and we had no idea why. So, after we called pool maintenance, we decided that as long as there was enough water in the pool we would still open for public swim. So, we were all sitting in the office waiting until 1:00 and one of the guards went out to do a chemical check (at like 12:45...) and came back saying that there was no chlorine in the pool. YIKES! Talk about unsanitary! Well unfortunately for us, the pool opened in 15 minutes and we had two Boredom Busters groups that showed up early! Double yikes! So we rerouted the Boredom Busters kids and sent them to two smaller pools and we made signs and left a message on the voicemail about how our pool was closed for the day and we all went home. Apparently what had happened was one of the pumps had sprung a leak so the chlorine got turned off (how long it had been off we don't know...GROSS!) and the water was actually leaking out of the pool. Well we were able to open at 4:30 (for 2 1/2 hours) and had no more problems...with the exception of the pigeon flying into the office...until next time, it's life as usual at Carson Pool!

Sounds like you're having way too much fun at the pool. We've been to Brimhall 4 times, and on three of the four trips one of my kids has attempted to drown themselves. I'm sure the lifeguards love us!
